It has been a slow recovery for Sue since a stroke left her with no control of her left arm and leg. This had a serious impact on her mobility.
TAD volunteer Geoff Permezel modified a walking aid to allow her left leg to swing freely as well as adding a cradle for Sue’s left arm. Her stronger right hand steers and controls the brakes through a single lever.
“I had to learn how to do things all over again in the beginning and having the trolley just made things that little bit easier.”
