It was wonderful to celebrate National Volunteer Week and welcome volunteers to our first TechTALK for the year!
Over 30 volunteers came to our offices in Abbotsford and Northmead, with another 40 tuning in over zoom – our overall biggest attendance yet!
TechTALKs are sessions where volunteers get to share recent projects they’ve completed, share ideas and learn from their peers.
We also welcomed Bronwyn Hemsley from UTS: University of Technology Sydney
as a keynote speaker to talk to us about the latest technologies helping people with disability, including smart speakers, augmented reality and 3D printed food!
Pictured are the attendees in Abbotsford, Northmead and Online, plus a shot of volunteer Don talking through one recent project he completed.
Thank you all for a wonderful morning!
