A message from the Chair of Solve-TAD

Following on from last year’s agreement to merge Solve and TAD (NSW), I am pleased to share the merger is progressing quickly and effectively, bringing together the two organisations to reach more people with disabilities across NSW and Victoria.

A single Board has been formed, with myself as Chair and Andrew Every (former Chair of TAD) as Deputy Chair, and is operating successfully. The Solve and TAD management and staff teams are beginning to work together on joint projects and sharing expertise, and the necessary administrative and legal requirements are underway. Most importantly, Solve-TAD volunteers continue to deliver life-changing solutions to the people we support.

To enable the next steps in Solve-TAD’s development, an integrated staff management structure has largely been developed and I am pleased to confirm that Dr Anthony Lowe, previous CEO of TAD, will lead Solve-TAD as CEO commencing 1 March 2021. Anthony has a wealth of experience to draw upon and of course knows TAD and our sector well.

Anthony will be supported by a very capable management team and Rosemary Nolan is appointed Deputy CEO. Rosemary has run the Solve business in different roles for many years, most recently as Solve CEO, and will provide tremendously valuable support to Anthony.

I am sure you will join me in congratulating Anthony and Rosemary and provide them support as we unify our two organisations into one.

I also take this opportunity to once again thank our wonderful volunteers and staff without whom Solve-TAD could not do our important work to change the lives of people living with disability.

If you have any questions please contact TAD on 02 9912 3400 or info@tad.org.au.
